History of Economic Thought
READINGS

Most of the following readings are available on-line (except for the Heilbronner book which is recommended, but not required, to provide another overview of the HET). Most are html documents, sometimes found on other websites, sometimes newly created by scanning hardcopy, most have also been prepared as pdf documents in a "table" format that provides space for note-taking and comments. As a general rule, if there are two links - one to the entire text and one to an edited version of the text - it will be the edited version (often much shorter) that I want you to read. The entire text is provided in case you want to read the edited version in context.

I will be adding to this page regularly, filling in holes and creating new threads of lineage in the history of economic thought. Any suggestions or pointers to useful on-line documents will be gratefully received.
