This debate consists of four parts:
- The original article by Zanny Begg published in the November 10, 1999 issue of the Australian Green
Left Weekly. This article was reposted to the aut-op-sy listserv that same day and that version appears here.
- Cleaver's response that was posted to the aut-op-sy list on November 11, 1999. The response is made up of comments inserted into the originally posted text of the article. So both the original and the response are included here.
- Begg's reply to Cleaver's response was published in the Green Left Weekly of December 1, 1999 and was then also posted to the aut-op-sy list on December 7, 1999.
- Cleaver's final response to Begg's reply posted to the aut-op-sy list on February 18, 2000. As far as I know Begg made no more comments after this.
