Part I: Seriation

Like communities of living organisms, styles evolve and change through time. As an individual style becomes prominent and declines, it creates a pattern in the archaeological record termed a "battleship curve". A relative chronology can be established by tracing the evolution of these battleship curves through time. Using frequency seriation (i.e. the principal of battleship curves), please answer the questions below.
