TOPIC:  Speculations on why you found one text easier than the other.

Questions: Text Readability:  Which text did you find easier, and why?  Do you agree with the unit's analysis;  why or why not?

Questions: Reader Strategies:  Did you READ the text for its sense and information, or did you TRANSLATE the text as you went through it?  What's the difference between these two activities?  What (if anything) in the text gets harder or easier if you switch between reading and translating it?

Questions: Language Issues:  What (if anything) confused you about either of the texts?  What (if anything) did you need to look up, or would you need to?
